  Manchester's Evaporator/Concentrator offers an energy-efficient method for consolidating your waste, utilizing almost any existing industrial waste heat source.

Constructed of a choice of corrosion- resistant, chemically compatible materials, this compact-design evaporative system concentrates your wastes to minimize or eliminate waste treatment, reduce handling costs, and recover high purity water for re-use.

Principle of Operation (see diagram below)

Evaporation or distillation is the simplest way to separate water from wastes or process chemicals. The system can be either open-loop, venting to the atmosphere, or closed-loop (zero discharge), returning high purity water for reuse. Concentrated wastes are greatly reduced in volume for disposal.

Even if federal, state, and local regulations mandating industries to control discharge of pollutants didn't exist, a Manchester Evaporator/Concentrator System would offer an attractive payback period when capital and operating costs are considered along with reduced process and treatment chemical costs.
